They cannot settle out of court. A new ruling brought in, in America means cases can only be settled in court. It's one of the main reasons why this case is so major, and seems like the family envolved just want justice. Of course they will still make money from the press, books, etc, but it seems it will defo go to court!

So your saying it was right to let OJ off with it? It was so obvious he did it. Everyone knew, how would it of started another race riot? It was totally different from the Rodney King episode!

I dont think he is saying that, I think he is just giving the reason why OJ got off. Of course if you are looking for a ruck, I thats what he said, got a problem with that?

I still don't believe that one of the reasons was incase it started off more race riots though!

The boy concerned has been involved in two previous cases and he's been trained in what to say.... The family are well aware of what can be achieved through such allegations.

The case is major because its micahel jackson :D

Reading up on this law now - wasn't aware of it, but it changes nothing - I was well aware of the "family just want justice" arguement - but their track record doesn't look good.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: ??????????

WHERE THE FUCK DID I SAY IT WAS OK?!?!?!?!

I was telling you why he was let off, too have such a high profile member of the black community done for murder immidiatly after the rodney king riots, could of tip the balance udring very unstable tense times.

Why do you think the case wasn't held in Santa Monica? because if a white jury convicted OJ there was the fear of another race riot... this isn't my theory its almost common knowledge.

It doesn't really matter whether you believe it or not, it is a very well documented theory.... Whats your alternative theory hot shot?

I am only stating that I do not believe they could let him off just incase it started another riot. They were a number of things combined that got him off. He is a celeb, the best lawyers available, etc.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: ??????????

Do you actually know anytrhing about the case other than OJ was a famous black man?

It is LA law that the trial take place in the district the crime was committed, Santa Monica... In Santa Monica the jury would of been 99% white, it was feared that a white jury would find him guilty... However it was thought that a black jury wouldn't due to the deep racial tensions between the communities at the time. So the court case was moved downtown.

And just like the white jury found the cops not guilty.

The black jury found OJ not guilty.

You can't contest these facts - all you can contest is why the court case was moved.

I don't know the in's and out's of the case, but I was only saying that IMO it wasn't one of the reasons behind him being found not gulity. Everybody knew he had done it, so why would they of been riots? The riots behind the King incident were racial because of what happened to the man, and it was an absolute disgrace, I don't think it was the same with OJ. Do you see my point?

You may be right, but this is only my view point!

Your entitled to an opinion, my issues is with fact you know so little about the case yet claim it has nothing to do with another race riot... I try not to speak out on issues unless I've done a little research.
