By looking at some of the photos from friday everyone i've spoken too was clearly off their bracket, which maybe explains it?

All I was saying was that theres nothing wrong with folk sticking their own night on & pushing themselves through their own night, especially if they love to DJ, better still if they can pitch in some money together & get a headliner then even better as most of these lads wont ever have a chance to play at the likes of Shindig, Evolve, Waxon, Habit etc.... I very much doubt anyone is out for superstardom in Newcastle as it wont happen, most of the gigs I play locally I dont get paid for, I turn up with a bunch of mates, get pissed & DJ, simply because I love it.

In regards to the Lube guys, all I said was that a few of the comments passed were a little harsh, it's their first night at a new Venue & they had a few problems which im sure they can sort. You then came in wth 2 lead Reeboks saying that it would never work 'blady blah'. All I asked was how could you pass judgement if you've never even been to the event & seen how the night went down itself, which was imo a bit of an uneducated guess.

You then went on to tell me to watch my mouth as you'd booked me when you haven't, it's Goodgreef that have put me on & goodgreef that are paying me, infact I probably knew the date & details for this years Kiddstock before your good self, but never mind.

You've then went on to say I never paid you for a favour you did me last October & also said I bumped you on 2 guesty's... then you've just came on here in your last comment & said that I DID actually pay you but was £5 short & in actual fact MOS & his missus DID get in for free when I gave you 2 guesty's..... cummon man theres no need to lie?

when i am busy juggling A 9-5, a family, a house extension and 5 yearly club events and essentially doing 99% of all flyering and promo / postering myself i am at least due the odd night off paying others to cover events that are target audience

there was no need to start being dismissive of our involvement in kiddstock or accusing me of getting above my station, i am one of the people who hate the whole ego driven nature and corporate aspect of clubland the most.

I would suggest you read my posts clearly and not take them out of context

theres no where in these posts, where i have dissed the night or booking, but in my opinion the fact remains i dont like the attic and 10 techno orientated events in 1 month is not to the good of the techno scene LONG TERM

there are plenty of others that are ready to knock LUBE, i would urge a reread of the thread to sniff out the aliases at work and their reasons for dissing the night.

I aint one of them: my comments are my prediction of where its all headed

speaking of kiddstock on the 16th august, we didn't realise it was kiddstock and booked beat therapy for the 15th, which isn't really flooding the market really as we are giving the takings to a worthwhile charity, while kiddstocks takings are going to the goodgreefs bigwigs.

JnrG was fucking class, and to say it was just a promotion point for Tree's is the most ignorant, pittiful remark i've ever heard. it was packed out nearly every event and had a lethal lineup nearly every month.
