scientific research shows that love is just a release of chemicals designed to get men and women together for the purposes of breeding. Hence the nice feelings when you first get together with someone, wanting to be with them all the time, thinking about them, yadda yadda yadda.

if you haven't sprogged within a few years then these chemicals wear off and you search for 'pastures' new, pref with more testosterone (that's the ladies, obviously).

Hence the large number of couples who hit the 2/3 year mark, start spouting about 'loving each other but not being in love' and start doing the nasty with third parties.

I'm sure all you love lorn chap/chappesses out there feel a lot better for being told that what you are feeling is merely an overload of chemicals - typical Mon morning eh?

    ;)

    Cheer up hun

I would just like to say heather, i really do know what your going through... I thought hardcore was my soul mate... i still love him but after we finished i thought i would never be able to speak to him again as friends or nothing like that, then last night after 2 1/2 after breaking up i realised i couldn't lose him all together!!!

It is very hard at 1st i can admit that but time is a very good healer... but try ang give him some space cos if he doesn't know what he wants at the minute the more space you give him the more he'll be able to think about if he wants a long term relationship with you. If you's are meant to be you's will get back together but if you's aren't.....

    Take care hun x x
