*spoilers?* * was class. look's like they've all ended back up on the same timeline on the island tho. well - apart from the creepy alt universe where they've all went home. bizarre.
Still can't download it, first 50% was done in 10 minutes but now it's going at a snail's pace. Frustrating as fook.
whad ye rekon of it then W? proper side reality's and all that??? Sayid is blates jacob or sommit like. the crafty arab.
You mean the same as Smokey takes over Locke? He just imitates him though ie. two bodies, only one Sayid. Personally don't think it's Jacob, could be wrong though!! Loving the alternate timeline, Desmond's massively involved somehow, just not sure how yet. So many points to discuss, gonna sleep on them!!
*SPOILZ HEW* your not wrong there like. why on earth was he on that plane in the first place! and then why the fuck did he just dissapear?? however in that dimension the island was underwater and therefore he didnt crash on the island.... and apparently didnt go on a voyage in a yacht.... also boone's sister wasnt on the plane either! apparently richard was supposedly meant to have been on the ship carrying jacob and his nemesis to the island - either as a slave or a prisoner. apparently more to come. fuck knows why the fake locke was dissapointed either.
I dont think Sayid is now Jacob like, there isnt two bodies as far as i could remeber. I think the LAX timeline is what would have happened if the bomb WASNT set off. I have no reason to think this other than the fact they were still in 1977 after the bomb went off. (werent they?)
no, they are all in the present time line now, hence why they saw the flare go off while they were on the beach.
I got bored of this half way through series 2, so stopped watching it. Out of curiousity though, can someone sum up what the fuck it's suposed to be about? Main reason I got bored was waiting for an episode each week. May be tempted to watch it again now there's 5 seasons to go through.
*Spoiler/theories* From what I could make of it all... when Juliet detonated atom bomb atop the pocket of energy in 1977 (which later became the swan where Desmond lived in the future) it resolved the original future time line but only by creating a completely different time line strand independent of the time line in 1977 (which later sent the Losties the future, but not the resolved one). In the new strand the bomb dissipated the energy pocket, thus the plane in the new strand never got drawn to the island in the first place and the Losties went about their normal lives. I guess the evidence is of the island being shown as being submerged when Jack looks out of the plane window. I'm wondering if they'll chop and change between the series 6 resolved time and the the post series 5 timeline. Desmond is independent of the timelines and jumps between them - I reckon that's why in (theorised) resolved timeline, he's disappeared when Jack gets back from saving Charlie from choking. Then again, his time jumping/conciousness jumping might have been resolved by the fact that if Juliet detonating the bomb/energy spawned a new time line, then the Desmond in the spawned one some how succeeded in his efforts to do the boat trip and/or never had an island to get stranded on. Desmond was Faraday's constant or something. What I thought was interesting is that the inner temple pyramid seemed aztec/incan styley (where they took Sayid to be healed), yet the other places have Egyptian stuff going on - especially the Anubis/Tawaret statue. Suggests to me multiple cultural colonisation of the island or something?
What day do the yankie doodles get to see the episodes? Just asking for dl purposes. Class start to the series so far anyway.
loved the first 2 eps. Where was michael and his kid? and also boones sister?? I think Desmond plays a big part in it too. still confused by it though haha I miss MOS! he's only one who manages to explain it to me so i understand
aye, however the 3rd episode isnt as revealing as i'd hoped it to be like. i dont like these new 'others' like. and it's seeming like this isnt going to conclude slowley.
