i must admit, HOW GOOD was epsiode 5? i was bubbling my eyes out at the end!!!!!

Desmond is class , glad it's starting to move the story forward. i think the island is the PRESENT but desmond keeps jumping back, like the experiement with the rat - he taught the rat 1 hour in the future (when desmond when unconcious probably) to run the maze , you can't got FORWARD in time but u can go backwards


Defo the island is going to destroy itself - the time difference was 77 minutes, then when desmond was in faradays office, faraday said "you were gone 75 minutes" too much of a coincidence if u ask me....

What an episode! Desmond is an awesome character - it was looking bad for him and i was chuffed he got through to Penny before he almost died!

I never have got bored of Lost and think every episode has been good but this is exactly what we needed to get things really exciting again!

So it was Hanso who owned the black rock and Whidmore is paying serious money for the journal after it crashed on the island in 1812 or something, so how is Whidmore involved?? Is he funding the research into time travel?? PS Jacob used to be director of the Hanso foundation, so is he trying to proctect the island???

On the paintings on the hatch door, they had wrote '' Research into cerebral development'' so they knew that people fucked if after going back too many times and were looking for a way for the brain to deal with it. Now Faraday has found it with the constant.

But Faraday said you cant change the future, so how did his book have written '' Desmond is your constant'' If he didnt remember meeting him, or you cant change the future??

The partially explains the problems with having babies on the island. But how does that account for aaron?

Just watched episode 5 and now im more confused than ever I cried my eyes out though

It is only desmond experiencing time travel isn't it??? he turned the key in the hatch then from then he has seen the future, but his flashbacks after then have been him in he past travelling to the future and not remembering the island or the 3 years he spent there arrrgh my heads battered!

Episode 4 - I think Claire gave Aaron to Kate to save him, if only 8 people left the island, maybe Claire wasn't one of them but she told Kate to take Aaron so he wasn't stuck on the island, maybe Jack doesnt want to see the baby because he can't come to terms with Claire being his sister and he left her on the island so he can't face Aaron?

When Jack gave a character reference for Kate he said 8 people survived the crash, but i thought it was 6 people, Jack, Kate, Sayid Hurley and who???? I think Jin and Sun also get off.

One of the last few episodes of series 3 I think. It had Claires flashback of a car crash with her mam, she had dark hair the doctor told claire and her aunt that someone was funding the treatment, turned out to be Jack's dad, who admitted to be being Claires dad.

I guessed he was her dad when jacks dad and anna-lucia went to a house in Sydney and it was a blonde woman at the door arguing with him, I guessed that was Claires mam then.

Surley sun though if she is pregnent and if Juliette is telling the truth that the mam's die after birth if the babies are concieved on the island, Sun is guaranteed she is going to die if she stays on the island.

thats a good point, maybe thats why jack doesn't want to see the baby, regret for leaving her there.

they are called 'Oceanic 6' which means 6 were saved from the island BUT that number could differ from the actual number that SURVIVED the plane crash - ie 8. SO maybe they explained to the media that 8 people survived, 2 died - 1 being claire who died AFTER having the baby. so, we've still got to find out who the other rescuees are AND the identity of the other survivors - in the story they tell the press

when we seen the first 'flash forward' at the end of series three, when kate met jack at an airfield...didnt kate say 'he'll be getting worried where i am', everyone assumed that she meant sawyer and was stuck in an abusive relationship, mirroring her own mothers problems. i reckon she actually meant aaron.

doesnt mean nowt really, its just nice to solve problems
