    longest ive ever done is 16 hrs, 9am - 1am, a couple of weeks ago. used to do 9am - 12am (15hrs) every sunday til i realised it was shit, and even worse when u hadnt slept since thursday :p

    I did a 16 hour shift on a busy respiratory ward while pregnant....that was fun! It's great when nurses dont ring in sick early enough and the nurse bank is empty.

    I used to do live in nursing for people coming out of rehab after a spinal injury and I would be on duty 21 hours a day, 7 days a week for 3 months :eek: I would usually not get my breaks either as the district nurses would come to assist me with things that needed 2 people and would usually come when my breaks were! (wish i still earned that amount of moolah with no time to spend it!)
