I got back to Toon this afternoon having spent the last week there, and all I can say is- the place is fucking amazing!!

Went to fabric last Friday, I have never been to a club that blew me away as much as that place did.

And I don't care what people say, going out drinking really isn't that much more expensive, if at all, than Newcastle.

Went to see Metric at Kings College last night, it was £3 a pint of Stella- at the Carling Academy up here it's more than that, and that's for shitty Grolsch.

Very true. The main differences in prices are for travel and accommodation. And travel's not that bad if you get an Oyster card.

Jess if you are coming down for a week I suggest you get an Oyster, they're only £3 and then you can either use them as prepay or get a weekly travel card (I think). If you use prepay, each journey is roughly half what you would pay normally.

    Exactly.

Some of the houses I stayed at, they weren't exactly paying the Earth- around £400 a month, a mate of mine has just finished paying £300 for a pretty basic flat in Jesmond.

And the Oyster card was a god send, as I had a couple of days to myself while I was down, I was on and off the tube all the time- using the card made a big difference.

Any major city is expensive, just all depends on the sort of lifestyle you want I guess...

it was christened 'The Estate From Hell' quite recently

Definately mate. I don't think you're back in time but I should be heading to Turnmills for PvD and Halliwell on the 8th September if you fancy it??

Where are you at the moment anyway?!?!

We've got a stall at Freshers Fair aswell - 25 / 26 September I think so will be in touch once I've spoken to Remi and we know what we're up to. Start thinking about some promotional ideas!!
