i have a choice os so many buses i couldnt cout them on my fingers and toes together, at the top of my road, as well as a 'free' metro at the other end... i have two pubs i can happily venture into without having a nine bore or samauri sword waved at me... i have the choice of sainsburys or sommerfield both less than five mins from my door... a haunted tattoo shop which happily sells weed... subway manhattan pizza and poh wah

I Live in fenham, and have a few pals that live in Heaton and personnally I dont think one is rougher than the other, they have both got rough bits but every area in newcastle has got some nice and some rough. I live in quite a nice bit of Fenham, and thats near the west road and cedar road, and there isnt that many charvers, apart from little bairns. And the thing about smackheads! I have never in 16 years of living here, heard of anyone taking or dealing in it around her, gateshead maybe but not here!

And i'm agreed with some others, Fenham defo has the best partys and i've been to loads all over newcastle!

Both areas arent really that bad tbh, suppose everywhere has there bad/good points!

i have to disagree, i was brought up in fenham just off the west road and it was rough as fuck. heaton imo is sound as fuck and theres always better partys in heaton than in fenham. as for the dealing element both are just as bad.

id much prefer to live in heaton than fenham.
