1st) If liverpool get beat in the Final, you'll be fucking gutted and you know you will. Tears the lot, if ya a proper fan! Whats the point in getting all the way to Istambul for "a nice day out" and not being bothered aboot the score.

2nd) I'm not a chelsea fan but imo they have every right to be cocky! They have one of the best squads in the world, which will no doubt improve over the summer, they have won the carling cup and premiership. and got to the semi's in the Champs League.

    Interesting Chelsea Statistic...

Just seen this statistic - while i dont feel this undermines Mourinho's achivement - the team spirit etc they have is second to none, this is quite a shocker:

The amount of money spent in millions of pounds every day since Roman Abramovich took over Chelsea on 1 July 2003 until the title was won on 30 April 2005 was £1.02.

    £1,020,000 per day?!?!?!

    ffs.

Why do you laugh, Drogba's goalscoring record and perforfances for Chelsea do not justify the price tag, not even half of it.

Everytime he comes up against a centre half who doesnt give him time and gives a few kicks he doesnt want to know. If Chelsea had a Shevchenko or Adriano last nite they would of scored.

    :)

Where were you when you were shit? ;)

    Jose's a legend anyway!

Cocky, arrogant and doesn't give a stuff.

'did the best team win tonight?'

    'no. the best team lost'

    class! :D

    How are you neutral?

You have made it very clear you wanted Liverpool out

Liverpools style of play is a lot more suited to champions league football anyway.

I think they have a good chance of doing a job on milan.

There is no doubt Drogba is a good player but 22 million or whatever they paid for him is a disgrace! He has not scored enough and imo does not look confident in front of goal. He had one good season in france and the Uefa cup etc and his price tag went from about 4mil to 22mil....fuck that. Shit signing! :)

When you score a goal after four minutes against a team like Chelsea it is very difficult to hold, but Liverpool defended brilliantly. Apologies if they didn't go for a second or third to please you

i agree - as i've mentioned i dont know if you can win it like that - -but kudos to ya's all the same! slightly different situation but when we beat em in the fa cup, scored early, and clung on... thats about the best we can hope for, and to succeed is (while not attractive) a feat in itself.

Cant stand watching teams that just sit and defend and hope to score one goal. Especially Champions league knockout stages these games shud be end to end with chance after chance.
