It's happened to a fucking hell of a lot of people I know.

Just about everyone who likes techno now, didn't at first. That's a fact.

it's an acquired taste, just another genre, not a right of passage.

fair do's but i didnt like it and i left, i know quite a few others who did too.

Dont think it would have been boring at all if Marco V had been on before Petrae.

But youve been doing it 15 years longer than me :)

I didn't mean tempo at all mate.

The club may have been busier because Marco V (one of the stars of the show) was on last, but that was only because people were waiting for him.

The club did space out a bit mid way through Petre's set, but you're right if Petre was on last (not that he's shit), the trance fans would have left after Marco V playing beforehand.

You can't keep everyone happy when you're running like 3-4 styles of dance music in one night, it's never going to happen. It's great that you can cram so many in there.

I say again though, Techno after trance in mine and alot of other people's (on and off the board) opinions is the best way to do it, music wise, but it's never going to keep your club full to the end, which is your aim.

Lee's a good DJ, but when he was put on after Fergie I just couldn't be arsed anymore, and neither could my mates (and we've all enjoyed his sets bigstyle).

Do you see what I'm getting at Mark?

the night seemed to be enjoyed by most, a nice variety of music on display and a nearly full club come 4am.

exactly it was a cracking night, one of the best ive been to, all i was pointing out at first is that just because people get deeper into dance music, they arent all gonna one day turn into techno heads, which is what i thought was being pointed out by nass at first :)

    no not at all.

I was enjoying techno which is my preffered style. Then Harder edged trance started to be played and i just couldnt get back into it.

I didnt get bored at all and i dont recall saying that :)

i just couldnt get into it after hearing techno for an hour and a half.... im suprised you cant see where im coming from.

This is why I am saying as a promoter, you're doing the right thing because the majority of promise punters come for Trance.

It's still wrong to go Prog, Trance, Techno, Trance though.

I'm not being a cock or anything mate, it's just the way me and all my mates think, as well as others on here.
