He has a history of sulking. Not the sort of character i think we should bring in, especially for the wages he would command.

He is also killed some 1 in a car crash. Some women realated to the person he killed said Kluivert is a murderer.

Most of the Toon players sulk when its going against them, is that a crime?

But that shouldnt go against him, if he was a murderer he would be locked up. Accidents do happen,

No, the crack is he expects to have a contract within 10 days, its only speculation as to who it is with! :p

Anyway, as it is unlikely that you scummy bastards will get a full season out of Shearer you need someone else who is quality. Kluivert, if he shows the desire, should give that, he is class when he is on form. Dunno if he will get on in your team but I'm sure he has killed someone before so I can see him fitting right in! :D

50/50 for me on this one. If he could come in and do a job then I would be really happy, but I'm really not sure if he could. Will he ever be the striker that he once was? I'm not sure he's worth the risk!!

Fuck knows why though, I thought he was holding out for a " big London club " to make a move ......... Can't be good enough I guess.

Ian, I'm not upset at all, it was a valid point. It isn't all that likely that Shearer will be able to put in a full season at his age and as I said, Kluivert could be a decent replacement.

I think he would get at least 18 goals in the premiership, however Roy Makaay would be an even better signing for a UK club - goal machine.
