fri night has not been mentioned by either of us?!!

I was actually in your boots before promise - I was dead chuffed kerry got the gig but thought there was maybe dj's better suited to the roll (like your older lover lee foster), but how wrong I was kerry played an absoloutly blinding hard tance set which suited promise down to the t - I honestly can't wait to see the bonny las back.

We all know why your fuming, cos your beloved lee foster wasn't picked over kerry... get a life - instead of helping lee fosters chances of ever playing promise you've probably done far more damage.

I too never noticed any noticable fuck-ups (or at least worthy fo all this shite you've been talking), but I did notice how happy everyone was.... you really need to stop being so anal - you had a good night, which is what you paid for.... now quit crying!

I agree with phil.

I did have a blinder of a night, and some wicked choons were played, but I noticed a few hic-ups in kerrys set.

If no-one is going to point out any problems with her set, kerry wont improve, and I, aswell as Phil, would like to see her improve and do well.

I hope that I havn't offended anyone.

i wasn't there on friday so won't comment on that, but i've seen many a big name make mistakes in a set.. its happens, maybe nerves? maybe just bad luck none of us know.. u all had a good night.. just seems so pointless picking up on what happens so regularly!

anyway best of luck to kerry, hope there is more to come with promise, and with a bit of notice i'll be there next time!!

last friday was my first time @ promise. normally i'm working as i'm resident dj @ legends. i have to say that if i could play to such a wicked crowd i would be so happy. kerry is a good dj, i've played alongside her at sundissential before and seen her at other times. it is unfair to slate or criticise any dj because at the end of the day it is very difficult to get any decent work and those who do get it do so because they have worked extremely hard to get it. kerry should be commended for filling in and adapting very well. bedroom djs don't realise just how difficult it is to play in a club and make every person in the venue happy. i'm not trying to have a go at anyone here just try and put into perspective the achievement of actually playing a gig like promise.

as far as the night itself goes, i've got to say that even though i was pissed up (i know, i know!!!) i felt as if i had arrived home. i used to be a resular at union in space, leeds, but never really ventured out on the toon in ncl. i'll be in attendance on friday as flemming is awesome so if you see someone who looks a little worse for wear, say hello as it might be your uncle spunkton!!!!!!
