Just because he led a good life doesn't make his horrific death any better, and I am pretty sure that that won't be much comfort for his family!

He wasn't my brother, son, or dad though. If it was, then I'd be a bit gutted. But with the way that I am, I still would have known that he knew the consequences of his actions.

If he genuinely wanted to help people, being a westerner in Iraq is a bad idea... they don't seem to like all the *ahem* 'help' we've given them over the last 18 months (coupled with the americans bombing them daily for the 12 years previous ). Plus, there's a hundred or so countries where the people are a lot worse off but if you go there to "help" them you don't get paid as much.

He's just one person out of 6 billion.

people do have compassion but wud i fuck let my brother, father, husband, son go & work in an environment like that! no matter how much he wanted to help....him trying to help a country that have ppl who don't want his help & willposs catch & kill him isn't worth the noble effort or cash reward he was getting. I'd rather have them at home where they belong !
