Fucking hope so too. Doubt Wigan would be in the frame, no big fan base. You could argue the same about Bolton and Blackburn too. Think the Arab's will take their time and wait til Hicks in particular is fucked. Meryl Lynch has allegedly advised him to sell us as its his only asset which is worth more than its debt. Hopefully this is why Rafa wasn't too pissed off when the Barry transfer collapsed - he probs knows whats going on.

    So do I.

If Cheryl “Cole” would fuck me I’d quite happily let her talk how she wanted though.

    However....

What did you’s expect to turn up on a Tuesday afternoon supporting the club? All the corporates who, season after season, have ran the atmosphere at St. James’s into the ground? Hardly. Like they give a shit.

Granted it’s embarrasing watching them, but it’s the “scum” that you’s are on about that are at least showing their passion. Something that’s been missing since the mid-late ‘90’s at NUFC.

You'll find the real fans actually at matches, showing "passion" where it matters most.

Tell me why there's no atmosphere there anymore then?

I'm not disagreeing with you and saying that there are absolutely no fans there at all, but I've been going to games since Ardiles was in charge and used to come away with no voice left after matches. Now you don't even wanna stand up and shout your mouth off because you just get frowned upon by the businessmen, families and the stewards.

I see what your saying aswell mate, the home atmosphere for all premiership teams has slowly got worse over the years, theres only a certain parts of st james that continually sing at matches these days, whereas when i first starting going standing in the gallowgate early 90's the atmosphere in st james was unbelievable, turning up at matches 2 hours early just to sing. These days the ground isn't even full at kick off, the whole football experience has lost its meaning due to the influx of greedy fuckers into the game who never take the fans into consideration, the prices inside the ground are a total rip-off, when in reality there isn't a point in running the football club without them. The prime example of this for me was at old trafford first game of the season, probably the biggest club in the world, english & european champions, 70,000 fans, and it was like a library apart from the away support, wheres the fans logic in that? Surely if you spend hundreds of £'s a year and your teams winning trophies surely you would be in full voice? If a club like Man Utd can't create an atmosphere then its sums the situation up for me!!!

My point about the toon fans was the fact that standing outside the ground singing songs holding shit banners dosn't constitute passion for me, its about the fans who weren't there because they were at work grafting all day to pay for their season tickets and away days where the real passion is. After saying that about home games, the away support is still second to none like, the atmosphere at away games is immense!

    rant over. :D

If im shit at my job i get told i am, im sure you would be?

I can hardlys walk onto the pitch stop the match n say :

"Excuse me Mr Viduka apart from the fact your looking 5st over weight is there any chance of a full season out of you, a few extra yards of pace and a bag full of goals"

They have to know there shit and playing shit and not doing the job, i aint gonna fucking cheer them when there a joke am i?
