Krash - more people like metal than trance?
    Tup Tup - too swanky?
Other Rooms - rival for Evolve?
    Cooperage - indie at weekends?
Red Rooms - space now Error has moved?

    right, back to the revision...

    Cheers Danny,
like I said a while back, we'd of loved to have stayed at the Cosmic, the change of dates at Digital with Evolve would smash us though & there was no other possible dates at Cosmic. We along like yourselves book underground DJ's, not really massive A listers, so we'd be torn most months with having to compete with this, especially a night of the same genre. The Cosmic hold around 450, for us to get any return or to stand a chance competing with Evolve we'd have to be looking to spend around £3000+ for higher bracket DJ's. So realistically we'd have to sell out the Cosmic every month to make it a worth while venture, which im sure your just as aware it isn't the easiest of tasks month in, month out.

In regards to Venues, I'll put everyone out there misery. We have the Student Uni, perfect size for what were looking to do.

In regards to headliners we have Stoneface & Terminal (Vandit Records, Euphonic Records) booked to play alongside Bryan Kearney (Discover) & Neal Scarborough (Discover, Armada).

    :)

The Bassment imo is the best venue in Newcastle since Foundation closed. Plenty of low-ceiling'd wide space to dance about on and none of that partition 'swanky' bollocks that you find in the likes of Digital. Toilet 'area' has always been a good place to mingle and have a bit of banter on with people cos it's not too loud there and there's light. Upstairs smoking terrace has proved to be a good place for some banter too although it's pissing freezing and since I don't smoke I prefer to stay indoors
