why do they have to do it at school? can't they do it in their spare time? or are they so mollycoddled they can only do it if a teacher does it with them? too much pandering to their needs IMO

id assume its something fun for the bairns, it helps them be creative and its helping them learn to respect what family they have while they still have one

I couldn't really care less. Kids can be cruel. I wouldn't have wanted people knowing my parents were both blokes at school (not that they were)

just cos a few bairns dont have the picture perfect family doesnt mean others that have the 'ormal' family life should be able to do it. lifes full of hard knocks. the problem with this country is the majoirty suffer for the few, same with this religious nonsense.

everyones entitled to their own opinion forks, calm down :p

i think its offside all the same, but tbf i dont think they'll turn out murderers for not being able to make their fathers cards on fathers day.

PC will get to a point where people will just start ignoring it when it gets too far over the top. i hope anyway.

A few year ago our Nathan wasn't allowed to take pop in to school in his packed lunch. Apparently it made the kids who got school dinner jealous as they only had water.

on a different tack..... how many kids are given criminal records these days for stuff they would just have got a clip round the ear for.

"Video clips of al-Qaida-inspired terrorists beheading people have been found on the mobile phone of a 12-year-old boy, a senior police officer revealed yesterday.

The footage was found by teachers who reported the child, who is white, to police after he sent clips to his classmates."

FFS. The anti terrorist branch are investigating. They will probably bang him up for 42 days then ship him out of the country for a spot of torture, followed by a spell in guantanamo bay

but if the copper HAD clipped him around the ear, smashed his phone and told 'never do that again', he'd now be claiming compensation, infringment for human rights and police brutality!!

so your proposal would be to use violence against him in order to show that people who use violence to solve problems are wrong?

Mutal respect is great in an ideal world - however with the rogues around - they don't give a shit, they'd stick a knife in your or shoot in in a heart beat. respect by force.
