here's a quote from someone I work with after the weekend

work colleague ' oh I went to promise on friday'

me: 'ah right for the judge, any good, i heard mixed reports!'

work colleague ' aye the judge was mint, he was proper knocking out some tunes'

me: I imagine it was busy then?

work colleague: ' rammed'

work colleague: ' mind you the attic is shit like'

so therein you have the issue: promise put on floaty trance djs that are up and coming that no one has heard of they get in like 30 people

they put the judge, matt or other bygone faves on and its rammed

whatever people might say the judge packs out venues

but people still think the attic is a crap venue

so promise will continue putting on crowd pullers and in the cycle of judge, matt, ornadel etc...

its the same cycle they got into at the latter end of foundation

didnt ornadel mainly only get booked cos he used to be sashas manager

Ornadel Management (as it were) used to have Sasha (I think) but definitely Gabriel & Dresden , Motorcycle, Sander Kleinenberg, Filterheadz, Steve Lawler, Dave Seaman and Charlie May & a few other big hitters on their books. I think once they got so big they still kept the tie with the name but the agency had no bearing on their roster or bookings... or summit like that?
