Fairly decent point here too: http://www.true-faith.co.uk/tf/features.nsf/0/5AB3771BA2205EA5802576BF002D9D13?OpenDocument
Chelsea wherever you may be Don't leave your wife with John Terry His Dad deals coke And his Mum steals tea He cried when he missed a penalty. Chelsea wherever you may be Don't leave your wife with John Terry He cannot shoot And he can't fucking pass But he'll take your missus up the arse.
He shouldnt be dropped in my opinion! No doubt half of what has been reported on the news and in the papers is bollox anyway, but, why should he?? the rest of the team arent saints themselves, and what happens in their private life is exactly what it says on the tin - private! If your "average joe" who was say a manager in a company and had an affair with a work mates EX lass the company couldnt demote him because of it! but hey, what do I know, im a girl
your average Joe doesnt make £100,000s per year from image rights linked with being England captain. as i said before in this thread the scandal WILL have an effect on the football, as there is a very good chance the England camp will have divided loyalties between Bridge and Terry what Capello has done is the best solution in my eyes. it say "don't fuck bout and expect to lead MY football team", whilst at the same time he doesnt have to drop one of our best defenders (i'd still have dropped the cunt tho - only because i personally hate the man)
Complete bullshit. Say you work in a call center on a 6 person team and the team leader has an affair with a team members wife, are you saying nothing would be done in the interest of business? of course it fucking would they would be seperated prbos to different sites. A more reflective comparison would be if you where on a 6 man Hospital Surgical Team and this happened.... the seperation would be instant as no one could risk a hesitation or clash between team members during a life or death operation... This is a football choice and the football choice is also life and death they cant play together for the risk factor. The amount of bullshit iv heard people spout about this is unreal a proper reflection on our fucked up society where people think its "a private matter" if someones a adulterer. Are you bringing your son up to share similar views like this? I hope not.
He isnt the first and definately wont be the last to have an affair, im not condoning it, i think its discusting, but its fuck all to do with us! how do we even know what all the gutter press is spouting is true anyway? werent millions of people meant to die off swine flu??? the stories in the press are totally exaggerated anyway. i wouldnt believe a word of it without solid evidence! As far as bringing my son up to share my views in this, there is violence, murders, wars all around us, i think the England captain having an affair is the least of my worries and what my views on it are exactly what they are, my views!
Terrys hasnt denied it so he has been fucking one of his best mates gfs, it could and still will in my opinion affect performances on the pitch. Its a hard one becuase Terry is definitely one of our best defenders, upson, lescott, cahill etc arent even close so its hard to drop him from the team but dressing room divisions do affect performances.Saying that John Terrys always been an utter arsehole but seems to get the respect of most players. Rio is a shit choice for a replacement though
All Terry can really do now at the WC is train hard and peform well on the field. He's a cunt, but in my view quite a lot of them players are. None of them are saints, Terrys only in the shit because he's been caught. Would not suprise me in the slightes if any of the others have been in some similar scenario. Hes got to play though in imo as the others are not good enough. Theirs plenty of games and weeks before the WC so hopefully the dust may have settled come kick off.... if only a tad (although not if this lass coughs up more goss) Defos agree with him losing the captaincy role though.
I agree with him being dropped, he needs to be taught a lesson. He's escaped the bullet on too many occasions over the years & was slowly becoming one of these fuckers in sport that are untouchable with the press no matter what he or his family were exposed for: Drug Dealing, Shoplifting, Abusing Tourists after 9/11, Illegal tours of the Chelski ground, Affairs, alleged Abortions - The list was becoming quite colourful. However you'll now see a side to Terry that no-one has ever seen during the WC, mark my words. With being officially stripped of the captaincy the only way to silence the critics is through his performance & I guarantee he'll play out of his skin. Every cloud n' all that...
Totally agree, and again Rio's been no saint. 8 month ban for missing a drugs test & the 3 match ban for the Craig Fagan incident. It's more a case of trying to pick out the best of a bad bunch when it comes to the England squad
