who do u all want at sugarshack cos amy one of my best friends has been seeing ashley the promotor for the past 3 years and will get her to get on at him about booking certain dj's, have bin gettin her to go on at him about booking PVD but its apparently 'not that simple'!! hell man i s'pose if goodgreef cant do it then sugarshack aint gonna be able to...xxx

Its just about finding the right time to book him, They dit it for the 10th Birthday. The Shacks the only club bar The Gallery and Gods thats managed to get Armin on.....

Ashley and little Barry know there's a demand for van Dyk, but it's not as simple as that Rach as he's one of the most in demand artists out there. The pair of them have taken it upon themselves to give the Shack another go on the electronic scene, and some of the people they've got lined up are very impressive!

sugarshack reputation isnt good these day to be honest

plus the djs people want to see in bnoro are different to the ones people see in sunderland/newcastle.All very well saying who we would like on but actually going to the shack is something else altogether

id say talltrees has a bit of better reputation how

Shack has a miles better reputation than Trees.

To say Trees is better is riduculous its bigger and newer but its never had or will have the atmosphere the shacks had. How many clubscan boast Lawler as bi monthly resident and have had Digweed, Cox, Jules in his hey day, Sasha, van Dyk, Tiesto, Armin, Picotto, Fergie when he was massive, its had all the best house and trance djs. Oakie still loves the place.........Trees is nowhere near and never will be as big or have a better reputation than the shack. 5-6 years ago the Shack was one of the best clubs in the UK!

The Sugar Shack was my first regular club apart from all the happy hardcore shennigans as a child.

Those were the days of Jeremy Healy, mini PVC rucksacks and feather boas.

Me and my pal Andrea used to make our own outfits, cover ourselves in spangly glitter and dance all night alongside the Trannies with Altitude, back when 'hard house' was the latest Italian piano break down number

its being going for years and years man!! oakey, sasha, digweed etc etc etc have a total history with that club, the faulkeners and ash!!

Yeah I know what you mean.Sugar shack was one of the best nights in the country it isnt anymore and will need a hell of a lot of work to bring it back.I hope it does start doing well again.I'm more than happy to travel to boro for nights out if the lineups are good
