Personally Id love to see Ottaviani up here, we were toying with the idea but the DJ booth just isnt big enough for all his equiptment & theres nowhere else we could stage him in the club? I think Alex Morph is a must.
morph definatley but couldnt you just get ottaviani to do a 'normal' set ? id give a bollock to see him at g like.
Im not sure, definately worth sending the feelers out for but his set & reason he gets booked is on the basis that he is live, which means the whole 'shabang' Keyboards, laptops, Fx units as it's his sort of thing. To put things in perspective it's like asking Van Dyk to play Vinyl? it's not part of his show/set if you like?
psht, a dinna bout that like. she's waxa tho. Morph would be a fantastic booking like - would love to see that blonde continental fattie behind the ballroom's decks like, as long as he isnt with that woody bloke. ottiavani would be a class booking as well, but garunteed someone would prat about with his gear! the box is just to engrossed into the crowd there would be no point in having the equipment in there! you would have to have a cage around it or something... well looking at proudy's lost CD collection off last time i suppose there should already be one there now!
It is, wev'e had many of the local lads from up here on at Junior:G at some point, we just run them alongside a headliner every month to get clubbers going to the night & to put a decent trance vibe back into Newcastle. We've had the likes of: William Daniels Chris Hutchinson Mick Mark Maitland Myself Si Garrington Chris Metcalfe James Anderson Blackhall & Bookless Alex Farrier Tez Walker Serlait Lota Champagne James Untaimed Society D-NO Gaz Walgate All of which are local up & coming DJ's.
Yeh I think Morph would go down well here, Ottaviani would be brilliant but like you said the booth would be a nightmare! In reagrds to my CD's Im going to have to put Burglar Grease on my CD wallet LOL
DEFO MATE A NO THAT i WAS JUST A BIT CONFUSED AS TO WHY THERE IS SO MUCH DEBATE ABOUT WHICH DJ SHOULD BE ON NEXT MOST OF WHICH ARE VERY UNREALISTIC. i THINK PEOPLE SHOULD TALK MORE ABOUT THE UP AND COMING DJ'S NOT THE HEADLINER.AT THE END OF THE DAY ITS "JUNIOR G"
Were always going to run at least 1 headliner every month to bring DJ's to Newcastle that clubbers want to see, we do also listen to what the regulars have to say on here in reagrds to bookings & have respect for what they say about the night. I think it's quality how Goodgreef have showcased most of the up & coming lads around here, brings a good balance to the club, giving the up & coming DJ's a shot whilst having the pleasure of seeing an established headliner, it's seemed to work pretty well so far?
with out a doubt mate its a quality night. looking forward to the next one, and seeing si garrington again. saw him at evolve last month and was impressed! why is maitland not on?
Marks on his Jollies I think. Simon will most probably be on 1st so if your wanting to catch him get down for when it opens
I think Tyson's a wkd DJ personally, but you cant expect to play a night you have never been to & have shown no interest in unless your a big name? Iv'e personally pushed 2 of his CD's with the Goodgreef guys, but the ones that are there every month in the promoters face, chatting to them & giving them their new promo's are the ones that are getting booked? I fully agree though, technically & music selection Tyson rocks, but theres only so much I can do/say.
get laverty on he would tan the ass of the back room with the stuff hes playing at the min. right thats it im making vote laverty stickers !!!!
Back room or main room, Laverty would go down a treat, he's there just about every month aswel I dont know why he hasn't put the pest suit on?
