Id love to! I always practice with techno when im fuking round instead of trance, but with my set times id probably drop the speed of the night a little if I played that sort of stuff straight after a banging tech/trance headliner?

I'll definateyl have a word as Iv'e been itching to play a techno set for months!

Would love to see it happen, no doubt it would be all down to him to accept as understandably Axel would probably want just to play on his own?

I think a 1 off techno night should be tested? suppose if it did fail I could just play trance at the end? Lol:D

Maybe as a 1 off or the odd Techno booking, but it would be daft to start swaying in that direction fully as theres: Freaky, Hooked,Wax:eek:n all established Techno nights.

am i missing something?? why are people asking for Junior G to play techno/electro?? surely theres plenty of other techno/electro nights on in newcastle and not half as many trance....sounds a bit daft.

    Junior G Is Back!!!
    Friday September 14th - Newcastle

After a months break for the awesome Kiddstock the north-east’s favourite two-roomed intimate session is back! Having allowed the team time to relax a bit and recharge their batteries, September’s Junior G is a mouth-watering proposition as the small yet perfectly small JG smashes back into September. It’s another packed lineup at the Cosmic Ballroom, and the venue will be pumping on all cylinders for this hot-hot-hot date which features….

Only 22 years old yet young Dutch star Menno de Jong’s list of international gigs is bigger than anyone else’s of that age, from Godskitchen and Gatecrasher in the UK, The Love Parade in Berlin, FFWD Heineken Dance Parade in Rotterdam, Gaudi Arena in Moscow, Club Heaven in Los Angeles, WMC in Miami, ESP in Johannesburg, to gigs in Mexico, Spain, France, Canada, Poland, Hungary, Egypt, Czech Republic, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Belgium and of course The Netherlands. He is the trance resident of top Dutch superclub Asta as well as his own Intuition events that attract visitors not only from the Netherlands, but for which people fly in from all corners of the world to visit. Menno is one of the true ambassadors of the underground trance scene, showing how great one of the most misunderstood styles in music can truly be and is yet another top booking from the JG team who pride themselves on sourcing the most exciting DJs!

Back by popular demand, trance dance’s queen Tylor-Leigh returns to Junior G. Tylor has quickly become one of the most talked about DJs, equally at home playing hard dance monsters side by side with the most blissfully euphoric trance leaving clubbers drooling for more! Recently blessed with Mixmag’s Best Thing of 2006 and also tipped as the Best Trance DJ for 2007 on New Year’s Day by Radio One, Tylor has also just been announced as Godskitchen’s official resident for their 2007 World Tour!

Scottish finest up and coming DJ William Daniel is next on the bill armed with amazing turntable trickery he is sure to show us why he is a resident at Scotland biggest night, Inside Out.

Support comes from Junior G’s awesome local hero Gary Proud & Evolve’s very own techno jock Simon Garrington who will each be demonstrating to the masses again what they can do behind the decks.

Room Two sees Tylor playing an incredibly rare House Set – if you think she is just about trance and hard tunes you are sorely mistaken! Helping her along the way are the Digital Whores and Alex Farrier, both who will be ensuring the music is pumping from the word go!

Junior: G is an exciting concept helping to bring a community vibe back into clubbing, going out and having fun in general in a great venue with like minded people from all over the north east.
The Cosmic Ballroom is an intimate venue for 400 clubbers to lose it on the floor.

that would be class like, techno gets everyone going. move it into harder stuff for the last half hour or so.

JnR:G xTra hard, that would be canny. especially in that venue.

is there any update on the sound system anyway? it seems to have escaped the scope of the board recently, are we going to expect random bass drops for 2 minutes again?

i hope so, just leering at the soundsystem makes it worth it!

We actually thought about doing this for 1 month, when the Uni's & stuff broke up, getting Whitby or someone up, but it's pointless venturing down that musical route as long as Detox is alive.
