Its Goodbye From Promise.

I'm still around every now and then but never feel the need to contribute to anything that's said most of the time

Indeed, seems most of our heros from the past have the same sentiments! The Spence, for example.

it is a sad day had many good nights.But they were 2 or 3 years ago before it went monthy

no i will not yet say lets have a good send off....... this is because i dont want it to go ... i am a regular but never mixed with people i maybe now should have done!!! i hope it stays but if there is nothing left i hope, and will be happy if something half as good will come around, not take its place because this was the first for me ....... many good memories THANKS promise team!!!!

I have had some of the best nights of my life in promise!!

I take my hat off to Mark, Richard and all the team involved. It takes a lot of dedication, And to be honest FUCKING HARD WORK on all parties to sustain any night for 6 years.

At the end of the day things move on and the Trance sciene is never going to be what it was 5-10 years ago and i am glad that i was part of that generation when clubbing was clubbing if you know what i mean.

I have made some very good friends bacause of promise and i wish Mark, and Rich all the best in the future i have no doubt in my mind that good things will come because of this.

Having said that i am flying out to Cancun on sunday morning but i will be at promise on sat living it one last time with you guys!!!

Sad to see that the night I spent many a night at for the time I was in Newcastle is drawing to a close, had some top nights there, and met some equally top people! My lifestyle has changed hugely over last two years (though not because of promise) but the good memories I had there will be there for a while!

Falling isn't an option! Although was in Glencoe the other day, and smiled at remembering me and Si going down the wrong side of the hill, down into Glen Etive, and having to phone you to come out and pick us up!

That was a good trip!

Although I haven't been for a while now, I still keep in touch with the board etc. It's very sad to see Promise go, IMO, it's the best clubbing night that Newcastle has ever had. I have nothing but good memories of the times I've had there...and the states I've been in. Good luck to Mark & Richard, will try to get there on Saturday but it looks difficult at the moment.

i can point out a fact....it is a shame to me....

it has nothing to do with what wot was speculating on...its called karma & he deserves nothing less than that!

i did not find out that promise was closeing from this message board, i heard via word of mouth.

so many people saying there gutted, plenty who have not even been in a long while maybe??!!??
