I know what everybody means about the vocals...i dont think theres anything wrong wiv them really being the whole song if its done well...and whoever said about motorcyle, holding onto nothing not being bad etc i agree...they just got hammered by every dj and now (whoever sed this is right also) motorcycle is definately a dirty swear word...
I myself personally have weakness for vocals if they r done well, i dont really like it when they r the whole tune, whoever sed 50/50 yeah i think thats good..
I think my fav though (unless its an extremely beautiful 50/50) is probably sneaky vocals..like ortz - secret garden when it just says beautiful before it goes mental...Sneaky
Whereas i dont like the version wiv the vocal on it as much..cos i think it sounds shit..:D x

tunes that are built around good quality music with vocals also are really good!

these type of tunes such as delerium etc will remain classics

but tunes like holding onto nothing (which was great the first few times you haerd it, but then got bored of the lyrics after a few weeks and now seems nothing but average) will not stick around half as long as they don't have the complete pulling power!

i think a very limited vocal is the the best way to go...such as fridge - paradise...or a dubbed vocal or something simple looped over, like recluse-emotional void!!!

although you can't beat a good singalong in the old discoteque like!:D

    how can tunes such as

    such is life
    mindcircus
    tears from the moon
    hear you now
    etc.

    be bad for the scene?

there seems to be a few good quality vocal trancers released lately but not like the old days!

infact the first tune on the new ahead album is a mint vocal tune...it aint trance though but maybe that just proves that most of the vocal stuff is shite these days anyway!
