Thats coz there is alot wrong, all these pathetic bitchy posts on Trance, ur not all slaggin tiesto, ur slaggin what u work 5 days a week for lol. The world of dance/trance have alot of growing up to do, give it 20 years maybe less or more for some of us when were to old to jump about or Dj n ull think back & think, fuck, my session days are over a wish a cud go back!, why did i slag off what i loved!. Then stick ur heads down the bog n drown ur selfs is it boredom or reputation Ive had my say now, Take it up with the 25.000 people in this image TIESTO!, TIESTO!, TIESTO!
what a load of utter shite. The problem is that tiesto is getting a bigger and bigger head all the time. He hasn't done everything by any stretch of the imagination. I'd bet you a fiver that five years from now, tiesto is as much of an arrogant cunt as oakenfold is now, and you'll actually realise what rubbish you just posted above. I'd give this a read, it sounds very similar to what you're posting...
Youre right mate youve had your say, though to be honest i cant even make out what point you are trying to get across? The fact is that ANY trance DJ who comes out and says he is too big to play GC is really showing how much of an utter cunt they are. Thats before you stop to think that GC was actually the club that made Tiesto what he is today (I can count on two hands the amount of people who turned up at To Die For in Newcastle to see him play around 2000 ish, and then again in 2001 at Newcastle Uni its probably the quietest ive ever seen the place). Then he becomes a superstar and becomes too big to play the club that made him, and instead decides to put on 'concerts' and play the likes of Disneyland. Is that really what trance is about? What i work 5 days a week for is certainly not seeing pricks like him playing the SAME old classics week in, week out at self titled events that do little but show how much they love themselves. I work to see exciting DJ's playing music that I and they both love, in wicked clubs filled with wicked like-minded people. That is not a fucking Tiesto gig.
what a was tryin to say is... why slag a trance dj off who was "at the time" massive nd gave us all alot of good nights out. Ok ill admit hes went a bit ignorant, but as much as am not keen on sum djs, a never come on here & slag them off, does u no justice. Aint us trancers suppose to support eachother. Obviously not, coz on this forum a cudnt count on 10 hands if a had 10 hands, on the ammount of djs that get a slaggin on here. and the daft thing is, if they play local, u break ur legs to go see them
people are entitled to their opinions - it more how u express those opinions that are up for debate. saying "dj thingy is shite cause he's got shit hair" is a stupid arguement, yet saying " dj thingy has dropped in my estimation cause he's a money grabbing sellout with no love for the industry he supposedly supports" would be a better way of putting it. Personally, the few times i saw him years ago, he was really good - now, he's turned his back on the scene/fans that put him up their - and in these lean times of clubbing that makes no friends
I have to say I am sick of the fans who follow him, they show nothing but love to Tiesto and Tiesto only! At Creamfields there was loads of people walking around with Tiesto t-shirts. What pisses me off is half the people who follow him are narrow minded and generally don't know anything about the scene. This is evident when PVD absolutely ripped the shit out of the Cream arena, full of energy, he was jumpin arouns the dj box like and idiot and the sound quality was awesome, but the arena was knowhere near full. However when Tiesto was on there were massive queues to get in to watch what i thought was an okay set to be fair, but nout compared to PVD or alot of other Djs i saw over the weekend.
Well everyone has a fav, n if a was sayin that about a dj u like ud not be long in layin it down to me bobby ill repeat it again, "back then" he was class, first dj to sell out an arena of 25.000 for him self alone, n all the other gigs he done, all his albums that were class. A think its narrow minded people who can sit and slag any trance dj off, its a lack of respect for the scene all together, Fact. And its not just towards tiesto, when a was at manchester a saw people throwin bottles off PVD, probly off Nucastle
unless they have a genuine reason a think a dj is shite. u can't say u can't slag anyone off just cause they play trance!
Yeh lol if it was sumit personal ad probly say sumit like, but half the ppl who slag djs do it for, an unknown reason, am not just defendin tiesto here lmao. anyway this is my last post this time
Do you even know what fact means, or have you just seen it in other peoples posts and thought it looked cool? That is your opinion, it is far from fact, as its also incorrect. Me being critical of Tiesto is me having a go at Tiesto, im not having a go at the trance scene at all. Even though i barely hear any trance DJ's these days there are still some wicked DJ's/producers keeping the scene going, people such as Askew, Downey etc who I have a lot of respect for. As repeated in other posts though, the way Tiesto has handled himself over the past 5 years or so has caused a lot of his fans from back in the day to turn away from him, and as in other peoples posts most of his support these days comes from people with little or no knowledge of the scene or music, and probably think him playing Silence or Urban Train for the eighteen millionth time is 'cutting edge'...
Your argument is contradictory; all you keep stating is that anyone who slags off tiesto is slagging off the "trance scene"? you still don't seem to get it. instead of contributing to dance and remembering his roots, his head has got bigger and bigger - all he plays are his glorified arena shows with no other artists... you don't see AVB, PVD, or any other DJ of any other genre (with the exception of oakenfold) pulling arena shows out of their arses. Thats because they all know what dance is, who to play it to, and where to play it. tiesto is not a rockstar. he is not the "trance scene". he is a DJ, a glorified jukebox. dance music is not a worship of the DJ, it's a worship of the dance floor.
Fuckin hell im a fan of him obviously but a cant say al ever be that big a fan of him like, that kinda puts the O in obsession.
Theres no way he can be for real. "I began to get chills, sweat, scream ecstatically, and sit there with my entire body shaking in electric exultation. "
the reason i slag him off because he is a complete cop out. tiesto isnt just a dj its a brand, what kind of dj sells lampshades with matching curtains and bedroom borders with his name plastered all over them.
