Is that when you get a warped record and try and flog it to the public as a new "genre of trance"?


Given HTFR's track record of unhappy vinyl customers, I wouldn't put it past them.

it is a style of trance actualy. its kinda like warp brothers style (hence their name) and usualy has a reverse bass line which makes the warping sound.

He attracts crowds because he plays what they expect/want him to. If I want to listen to this guy, i tune into Radio 1. That warms things up for the weekend well enough.

I dont wish to hear a DJ screaming his blurb/prop to a crowd of p*ssed up punters over the mic, i want to hear the crowd screaming because the music is good.

Unfortunately, if these Radio 1 DJs want their pay packet, they've gotta push the brand.

Avoid these DJs, purrlease. Im happy with T00L1P, dudes, but they gotta put somethin on the posters

Judge jules defo. Ive seen him twice, Once @ the Love Parade and the other @ Godskitchen. Wasnt impressed, cheese and beerboys really. Plus he looks like penfold! Also Kareem and any dj who wiffs of Galaxy 105-6 lol!

sorry i know everyones entitled to their opinions but you cant really judge julesy by just seeing him the twice, hes moved on loads since the love parade go see him again and im sure u'll change u'r opinion of him he is on absolute top form at the mo n even his previous critics are singin his praises at the mo. and no he doesnt look like penfold thats a horrible thing to say !!!! and grrrr at you pinchin my avatar ha ha!!! xxxxxx i was only jokin bout the last bit by the way!! xxxx

i have to agree since the new year i've been impressed every time i've heard jules.. only about 10 minutes at the telewest did he piss me off, but apart from that i'm full of admiration for him

u catch his set @ judgement sunday? i thought it was easily the best set of the night. i even caught a bit of him upstairs in the library bar towards the end, that night truly restored my faith in him

oh yes it was absolutley fantastic wasnt it and even his set in the library bar was mint and i dont even usually like funky house. its funny cos that nite totally restored my faith in him too cos even though i've always thought he was a mint dj n loved him 2 pieces i thought that sometimes he mebbes wasnt putting as much effort into his sets as he used to and sometimes i thought he could be um..dare i say it..um...an iccle bit arrogant (sorry julesy!!) but that nite he put 100% into his sets even the one in the library bar which towards the end was only to about 20 people and he was been an absolute gem god im getting sooo excited bout him bin on at promise im gonna see him a couple of times b4 then like at sugarshack n judgement sunday (is you goin to those??) but to see my favourite dj in my favourite club is gonna be mint mint mint eeeeeee i cant wait!!! xxx

as for dj's to avoid...not a great fan of tall paul, john kelly, seb fontaine...

it does seem Promise is going towards the more harder dj's like halliwell and signum etc...I LIKE!!!
as for booking some hard house djs like tidy boys, lashes....i wouldnt mind but im not really sure if it would suit Promises style..

not sure if most trance bunnies like their HH though..
