Is Eminem the Judge Jules of rap music?

Eminem & Jules seem to be more interested in their image and bank balance than thier tunes. To me, that's selling out, and when artists sell out, thier output turns shit(ter)

e.g.
Sex Pistols after Never mind the Bollocks
Oasis befire they bought big pads in London
Oakey now he's trying to crack the US market

Notice i've not dissed either artist for doing what they do, but I have less interest in someone who is more concerned with image than tunes. I've not listened to Eminem a lot, but his image seems contrived, designed to generate media attention, and if he's a bad boy then Joe's not camp

can i just add to this, as many of you may know, im a huge eminem fan, i have most of his stuff, including his earlier and underground stuff.

im not saying hes shit, i really respect him for what he does and think he has balls to be saying the stuff he says, i think what hes doing is good, ive never once said it isnt.

i think every1 has read this and is thinking im trying to say that what eminem and the judge are doing is bad for the music indusrty, thats not at all what im saying, im saying they are both doing the same thing for the music industry.

how can u say that jules's songs are getting shitter though??!! now more than eva he's producing his own tunes n they're good fucking quality tunes as well not just shitty crap ones fair enough there was a bit of a time around the time when he released hi-gate n pitchin n he first "stormed the charts" when it started to seem that he was totally heading towards commerciality but hes reeli concentrating on his tunes at the moment more so than hes image he's just got lots of charisma reeli thats all n likes his personality to shine thorugh his djing!! haha how stupid does that sound im just gonna shut up now but one thing i've noticed mr oakenfold is the most successful dj in the world as well as havin numerous top 20 hits but noteably no-ones saying anythink about him..im not sayin oakey is "just intersted in his image and his bank balance" cos i dont think thats the case but its not the case wiv jules either so leave him alone!! xxx
