i completely fucking agree with everything u've said in this thread.. ppl r saying yur judging ppl from the way they look. Which is wrong, but wen there going on like fucking attention seeking twats then thats how i will see them: as TWATS. Its the same if u see a dickhead charver in a street acting a thug, u will see them as thugs? Oh hold on, i shudnt judge them.

I think its wrong to judge sum1 how they look, but if some gay in drag is pratting around me screaming and generally driving attention to themselves and acting a complete idiot then chance is i am not gonna like this person and their personality and i wudnt knock around with them if they were gay or not because of the way they are going on.

It's all pretty irrelevant really, as the point was about Shindig, at which I sincerely doubt you will see anyone dressed like the guys in the photo anyway (maybe a couple when you're on the way to the club, but even that is pretty uncommon on the Newcastle scene).

Got to say I disagree with you there. There are plenty of gay people who don't like it when men get all glammed up (though it's usually the attitude, rather than the clothes per se). Are they homophobic too?

Personally I don't give a shit. I know a few guys who dress and act like that who are great, and some who aren't.
