rock'n'roll... hmm conjures up images of all those delightfully nice chaps you see hanging around trillians, stage door and the like... and all the oracles of wisdom to be found at "skates on" at the uni...

That's not good enough. I am requesting a quote from 'Joe's Crazy Jazz Cafe' with regard to current tastes in the 'Cafe'

Then you can say, "yeah, I've got a pair of the latest technics, my old ones got nicked by some skag heads so I got 800 notes off my insurance company and bought some brand spanking new ones".

    Which is nice.

John 00 Fleming and Judge Jules are both generally classed as trance dj's.

Yet there like chalk and cheese.

    Not enough to make sub-genres.

Commerical trance is normal trance that did well in the charts.

Hard trance is normal trance with more drums.

Floaty trance is normal trance with less drums.

The reason they don't qualify as sub-genres is because you can't play just one type for a whole set. Well you can but it's fuckin shit to listen to.

    Generally classed by halfwits?

Jules is not trance, he plays 'party music' which often consists of a lot of trance but he's no trance DJ.

On the original point of the thread, i think only Hardcore/Happycore truly attracts the dregs of society.

But then again, there is the odd exception to even that, with Joe himself having been known to dabble occasionally. ;)

Oh and Joe you havent provided us with a stereotype of someone that listens to techno. Im sure u have one! :D
