i've had an ipod since 2004 and i've had 2, and i've had no trouble what so ever, well - i dropped my mini several times, the final time down the bog, which tbf i didnt expect it to survive. got a new nano and its top notch. when i was a kid i had at least 8 walkmen, nearly all of which were sony, and all of which fucked within a max of 6 month. i suppose you can imagine why a comparison between tape walkmen and ipods isnt really just. unless they can think of a new way of storing and playing digital media, or even the creation of a music format which isnt digital, much like the transition of analogue to digital. i can imagine the ipod will live on till the bitter end. 170 million sold worldwide as of march says its the best thing going
Ipods dont have the full amount they say they do. I had a 20gb 2nd gen and it only had 18.5gb free, fuck knows where that 1.5 gig went to like
