Tell absolutely loads of jokes and interesting anecdotes. and talk about getting pissed as much as possible. and ask if any fit lads/girls work there.

you'll be onto a winner.

theres a big difference between obviously reading the paper on the way to the interview and actually having some knowledge about the companies dealings

@ UM did you go to that big Npower confrence @ derby county cricket club the other week then ?

Guaranteed they'll ask you about:

* Your strengths
* Your weaknesses (Don't think twice, just say "None at all")
* What you can bring to the role
* Experience you have relevant to the role
* Why you chose to apply
* If it's a woman - she'll want your shlong.

Ok, last bit's not always true but the rest are....

don't ever ever say "no weaknesses" that's bollocks!! Say something like....I would say my main weakness is ........ and I try and combat it by ......

shows you're proactive and able to take respnsibility for your own actions, targets etc

youl be fine man theres no point getting wound up about interviews theyve clearly looked at your credentials and feel you could do the job all you have to do is go in there and close the deal . Relax do a bit of research about the company although working there for 5 years id imagine your up to speed . Ask plenty of questions about your new role and what other oppurtunities it would open up for you .

I gave an example of a weakness in an interview and was told that was a bad thing.

However, by saying you have no weaknesses but you have often come across problems that have took a lot of initiative to overcome, more so than most tasks at work, then give and example, it will score you highly - your right, fair play

my brother told me that about checking the stock value of the company, not my dad. i dont ask my dad for carrer advice, if i had of i would be in 6th form now then at uni, not in a sound job with prospects. by the time all the people my age get out of uni and get a job i will probs be gettin as much money as them anyway

and you've missed out on all the uni rave, and when the people from uni have been in work for a few years like you have now, they'll be on four times as much as you.

my mate has just come back from his, said it was okay! out of the 7 ppl who have been given interviews i have the most experience, as the job i'm doing now is very similar. i'm actually pretty relaxed now i kind of know whats gonna be asked etc.
