The main difference though between sound waves and what most people consider to be waves is that they are 'longitudinal waves', ie more like a slinky being compressed and stretched, than water or light waves. Sound waves also need a medium to travel through, ie they cannot travel through a vacuum, unlike light.

Resurrection is good, special effects are excellent as are the cast. The leader if the pirate was a cool actor but i havent seen him in owt since?

There are three types of waves:

2. Electromagnetic waves do not require a medium to travel through (light, radio).

3. Matter waves that are produced by electrons and particles.
