One of the highlights had to be sitting in Newcastle city centre slouched down in a clip drinking malibu and getting a load of of coins thrown at us by a bunch of hitchhikers.

Layo was quality, Frankie Knuckles/Morales were okay, then Carl Cox absolutely destroyed the place going b2b with Fatboy Slim and both of them up the front and fucking about loving it. Eral Alkan was quality, Sasha destroyed the place and Garnier was unreal. Last tune - DJ Rolando - Jaguar.

Fuck knows what happened after that, loads of fuckups and a sketchy party later I'm back here.

i remember a couple of tunes earlier on in the night - but my memories past that are a total blur.

Frustrating cause i was completely BLOWN away by Sasha - i aint heard him EVER EVER EVER play like that before!

.... Erol Alkan was total nails - i thought he played pansy electro!!!

I'd give my left nut and first born to get ahold of sets from that night - it aint gonna happen but if only!

Sasha is absolutely unbelievable just now, totally destroyed the place. His sound at the moment is amazing, it was the same sort of stuff he was playing in December when I saw him, sets I've heard never do it justice at all though. Proper tough prog with loads of percussion and basslines driving the track along.

The music was so much better than I expected. Erol Alkan was playing electro last time i saw him, but he banged it out, totally class house and breaks. From his mixmag CD I expected Carl Cox to be shit and play a mincey minimal/electro combo but he banged out proper chunky techno from the off.

Garnier was playing minimal but it was quite good, it flowed together so well and by the end he'd worked his way seemlessly through minimal, complete and utter trance and techno. I love Garnier  :D

FUCK! Brid Garnier was nailing trance like that and you missed it. I'd say that sitting down when that was playing is my biggest regret this year. You can hear me showing my appreciation.

Considering it got flooded with sewage and cancelled half way through!

Everything went in my favour, the place got destroyed by almost every single DJ.
