Yeah the line would be fast.. but 500GB wouldn't take to long to use with that sorta connection.

Its about 16.6gb a day.. and you could download about 4 gig an hour..

So yeah the speed sounds good.. but I don't like it bein capped :(

but look at it the way i see it...

im paying £37.99/month for 3mbit from NTL....sometimes its more like 56k!!!!

so having almost 3x the speed....paying less....its all appealing :)

but - i see what u mean..if u wanna max out the connection u could quite easily go over the 500GB....16.6GB a day is quite a chunk tho!

But what could you possibly download 500GB of in a month? And stuff you would actually use rather than just 'possess'?

And if you're thinking of using summinck like BitTorrent or another p2p network to download files, remember that you should be uploading 500GB per month too... ;)

500GB is way more than reasonable - the only peeps that I can see being upset about that are the ones that download DVD's to flog at car boot sales.

im a heavy user - so the caps i place by other ISP's seem ridiculous...because for broadband they ARE unreasonable! this however, is more than fair

It's ~150 4.5GB DVD's worth of content every month, silly silly amounts

Fair play to an ISP for being decent for a change
