The first time I went to Ikon was my first ever night out in Newcastle. We said to our flat mate at Uni who was from Hexham to take us out in Newcastle.

She took us to her favourite bar in the city - Kiss in the Bigg Market.... and then onto the only club she knew that played house music, apparently - Ikon....

Was obviously the wrong person to ask..... Lasting memories of that night are all the girls with us getting molested in Kiss, "Cheer up Peter Reid" sung full volume in Kiss and sticky carpets in Ikon.

Been a couple of times since, but last time must have been Lashisential, which was terrible.

DJ'd in Envy a fair few times for Nice. Got some great memories of their but could never get into a dancefloor which had a fruit machine at the edge of it.

    I've never been to Ikon.

My first ever night out anywhere was promise at foundation so I was pretty much snobby from day one.

Legends does not count that was under18's.

Cramlington Village doesn't count either, you're just scared to admit that I've been an urban clubber from day one.
