    hes class!
    hope he still DJ @ hull in june.
    ill beg him to carry on.

    i know hes just one bloke, BUT he produces sooo many tunes under loads of different names.

    Are you still going to Uni to learn how to make music?

    If so lets hope when you have finished UNI you produce sooo many tunes under loads of diffrent names

    I'm afraid it's happening mate, hence the fact they re-released their entire back catlogue not so long ago to try and create much needed revenue.

    Their sister label is doing okay, but Hooj are in big trouble :(

    HOOJ are a bit outdated....

    a while back they took the deep house and prog route, and i guess its not working that well.

    the classics series should get them some cash tho...

    even when it first went proggie it was good, kc flightt voices, 16b escape, halo varga future, david james always a permanent state.
    now it just releases incredibly boring tribal numbers, as much as i like a lot of tribal, i aint that fussed about hooj anymore.

    lost language is putting out some good stuff though, and airtight is still a good label

    ive got lot of hooj prog from a couple of years ago, which IMO is really good, but the stuff nowadays is so poor, its no wonder theyre struggling

    Im seriously thinkin of going to newcaslte college after this degree to do a course in music production… thing is maybes u don’t need the qualifcations to produce, but to be sound engineer or one of the other jobs related to music production, that lil bit of paper is a ticket...
