    Like this thread is. I'm sure Mark posted it with gud intentions but was there any need to make threats to close the board etc just so people would tow the party line. That's just going to make the situation worse.

    Why is it a threat, if the message board is doing more harm to Promise than good then it makes sense to get rid.

    What I'm saying is that I think the message board does Promise more good than harm in the long run. I love it. It spreads the word, encourages people to come etc like in my case. You're never going to get it perfect tho.

    I love it too but it really is not doing Promise any good at the moment.

    It's up to us (the users, owners, mods, admins etc) to sort it out.

    Yeah, but threatening to close it down is only going to increase tensions. To sort it out we have to do it more civilly and work at it together.
