Tis a good idea but isn't 2 weeks a bit short notice for some peeps.

Wouldn't it be better to have it when uni breaks up then peeps who are away can get back and the peeps who are only here for term time could arrange to stay for an extra wekend.

And it would give peeps who just live miles away (Ken, Rob, Dereck etc.) a chance to organise time off or whatever so they can attend.

And it a bit more notice would be good for peeps with no money cause it would give them a chance to save up.

I agree. I'm gonna be starting work again this month but I'm not gonna be able to make it to Promise after Picotto til I get paid and thats gonna be the end of this month at the earliest.

Ruth has the problem of not being able to go every week cos she works alternate Saturdays, and it just so happens that she's at work on the 23rd and she has to get time off from the pub she works in to be able to come to Promise.

At least if there's more notice, sometime in December maybe, more people will be able to go

im pretty new to the board and hav only started going to Promise recently, this is because i used to work most of the weekend nights.
The meet sounds like a really good idea as all you people sound like a laff... the only thing is you all do seem to know each other pretty well and i think that there shuld be a adopt newbie type thing where all the the guys who dont know everyone will get the chance to meet everyone without feeling like you hav walked in on something that you dnt really belong too..
its just a idea for the newer people to get to know they core of the board..

I'll be able to give a better idea once I know when I'm starting work and know when I'm gonna get paid.

I think having a meetup in the always room would be a good idea but sometimes the bouncers don't let u upstairs until it opens properly!!! Making the badges ourselves would also be a good idea, can't really ask Mark for anything, on the whole we don't deserve anything!!!
