    Im fucking 21 FFS - if i dont like a DJ ill say so does that make me a twat or a bad person - message boards are about voicing opinions - ive seen alot lot worse than this board.........

    there's a difference between saying u dont like the music a DJ plays/his mixing or whatever, and saying he/she's a twat cos u didnt like a set.

    Not saying u did, but some ppl have

    Aye i know what ya's mean.

    Whever i say summit bout a DJ i always remember that there a DJ therefore there doing summit right - its my choice that i dont like them and i know for fact every DJ in the world has a following which is how they reach the top - i wouldnt call a DJ a twat - tramp maybe yeah :eek: :eek:

    well ive never personally insulted a dj on this board, and while i do agree there are people who have, i think sayin that 95% of the board are in the wrong is ever so slightly exagerated.

    And corvin, i personally enjoy your sound, and i look forward to hearing you tomorrow :)

    Have to say that i dont like Corvins style or music. But at the end of the day if I feel he was a twat it would be anything to do with his music (how could it be:spangled:)!!!

    Lets not only hear praise for everyone coz people are to scared to say what they really think!!! Frankly thats bull shit that wont benefiting anyone including the Dj but keep the criticism positive! If there is unneeded slating going on then let the mods do their job and set people straight! That is what they are there for!!!

    If all that is done properly then the Dj can appreciate the club even more for a true response to what people think and can hopefully build on any criticism and take credit for what others have said!!!

    you have made valid points however saying "i dont like corvins stylr or music" is not positive criticism!!! all you saying is "I dont like Corvins style or music"

    Positive criticism is "i dont like because..............." and then you explain why and offer suggestion on how things could be improved in your eyes!!!! In my eyes i like my music to go somewhere and I do not feel Corvin does this!!!! although this is his style its not mine, I bet you that my music is not his style either!!!!!!!!

    I was a twat for what i said and i take it back, and say that i think as a bloke Corvin is amazing!!!!!!!! as a DJ i will try to look at his sets from a not so narrow minded point of view!

    Corvin is deffo one of the better djs we get at Promise. Love his style of music. And lets hope we hear "Cookie Dough" again cos its class. So what if he played it last time?

    Just dont like anything he plays its coz its not my taste! Perhaps i should have even said coz i havent heard him enough to give true criticism! But the only reason that i said it was to show that i didnt like his music but wouldnt call him a twat or anything of that nature because of it!!! I would say why but as i said i havent heard him enough to give good criticism!!!

    I think people with less experience of music may find Corvin Dalek "samey" but thats just because they are listening and not hearing.. If you listen a a tune thats fine but if you dont hear it then whats the point.. Mr Dalek plays amazing sets no big tune but a full 2hr ride of sheer class. He takes it to a leavel and can easily hold the crowd there, bring it down again and then give it a full on last half hour.. He doesnt need big tunes and anthems like trance DJs do, he just drives the crowd which is the mark of a REAL DJ!!
