yeah i went to foundation loads of time, but the sound system was always really poor for me, to much bass, i've also seen pure fights in foundation. Also been mouthed off at before because of twats in there but told them where to get off.

I also couldn't get away fromthe sweat dripping on me from the ceiling fucking disgusting, which brings me to it was always to hot, the air was rancid in there and the birds weren't exactly mint either, and its a right mission to get to because there isn't any nice bars near it.

    I could go on.

    They're all trivial details.

I bet the majority of people on here have had amazing nights at foundation, and lots of good memories. Not once did any of the shit you've typed above stop my enjoyment of a calss night out with mates at either proomise or shindig.

Digital ranks as one of the most unfriendly clubs ive ever been to.

Foundation was a right old dump depending on how you look at it - but i had some cracking nights there and made lots of friends.

I cant see the same happening on trips to digital.

maybe your just not as friendly as you used to be, i have good banter with loads of people when i'm out at digital, and tbf the crowd of people is pretty much exactly the same for shindig, except theres probably a few more that go.

Poppycock ;) - Im exactly the same in turnmills and fabric and they feel completely different.

Im sure theres plenty of decent clubbers in there, but unfortunately being the new 'fad' club in the town means you have a load of wannabe try hards who arent exactly the open and sociable type outside their own groups - Its hard to put your finger on it, but it was a feeling a got the moment i walked in there.

Its also terribly laid out which means it feels like an organised riot with dance music being played in the background from all the pushing and shoving going on.

It just doesnt feel the same as foundation did (when it was good).

    :king:

exactly mate, spot on- nail on the head

who cares if the ceiling was sweaty, you were in a night club for fucks sake

yeah, there were cunts there, but i can safely say they let more of them into digital then they did foundation

i had some amazing times there, and i havent had better at digital yet

thats the basis of my argument

Re: I Heard Foundation Has Shut Down

Fuck - just went to check this out presuming it was another bullshit rumour, and am a wee bit shocked to find it ain't...

apparently ponana spent most of monday ripping everything they could out of there before the landlord reposessed it on tuesday.

have to say that's a bit ofa shock to the system like, I reckon a place with a heritage like that place had at the very least deserved a proper send off like:mad:

Someone from here was sayin ages ago that they were just waitin for it to shut down as soon as the flats started going up, and he reckoned the owners would be selling it to developers for apartments. Looks like he may well be right.

Have to say though that compared to the frienliness of Foundation, Digital is wank.
