I dunno what it is with clubs in newcastle emptying out at 1-2am ..... You'd think us Geordies with our reputation for partying hard would be able to stay up late?!

.... For some wierd reason, i leave early when im up norf, but down sarf it seems like its only starting to get going at 2-3am.

Yeah, it pisses me off when people begin to leave when things are only just kicking off. Especially when it's people you're with.

It was quality when Morning Sickness was on, because it was refreshing to see everyone still out at 7am up here.

Last time I was down London, I remember going to the afters @ Egg and checking my watch to find that it was 11am!! Nowt like that goes on up here :(

what would i change.... good question.

    1: lower the dj booth
2: cut an large arch way in the back prison bars. so you could get on and off the dancefloor that way but it would still keep the dancefloor separated.
3: i would love to personally take a sledge hammer to that glass vip box thats the only thing i hate about the club at minute. this would open up the access to the toilets a bit more and get rid of cock alley.
4: darken the cloakroom as it throws out far too much light
5: a better smoking area so its not to much hassle getting in and out

for me ...in an ideal world i would make the big main bar in to another room but i cant see how that could be done as there would be no fire exits. so thats a bit pie in the sky

maybe make the main bar a bit smaller so some more seating can be added.

theres nothing major that i really dislike but i do agree the access to and from the dancefloor needs to improve.

going back to foundation though it was a pain in the arse on the dancefloor there as well. you had to cut across the floor from the bar to get to the bogs ...infact i would say it was worse.
thats easy for me to say though i had a bog back stage (not that it always worked as someone kept having a massive shit in it and blocked it all the time .......not mentioning any names)

If you lost the corridor next to the toilets and replaced it with seating, lost the glass vip bit for better access to toilets, dancefloor and the new seating and lowered the dj box a bit that would do

keep bars at the back (or something similar) as it would look to open if you took it out and it gives you a place to stick the funckionone.

People go out earlier up here?

Been times in London where I havent even reached the club until 3-4am

but that usually ends up in pure wrongness and is to be avoided

    you tried fabric then

i think people do go out much earlier up here, and drink to the point of being mortal before they even go out to 'save a bit of money'

i think a lot of people up here are still firmly stuck in the mindset that you go out from 7 - 11 and have to cram in 4 hours of solid drinking in that space

yeah, i'm a budget alchoholic like - bottle of cheap vod + even cheaper mixer - then hit the club

7-11 bingetime in the bars and pubs = 40 quid

    7 til 11/12 bingetime at a mates = tenna split 3 ways

    go figure :king:

Some people on here have a weird obsession with foundation like.

Aye you had some good times with Gary back in the day but those days are gone. GET OVER IT!
