    its just that corridor where the so-called VIP area is. its an absolute nightmare trying to get along it when its busy! the dj booth thing ive never thought about!

    Early finish at work on the saturday so going to pop along for Prydz. heard good things about him.

    What time is last entry does anyone know. around about 12ish?

    bit of a misunderstanding there i reckon. haha.. I certainly wasn't talking about me getting shouted at but about maybe certain guest DJs (twas jest though , most times its just "mate not remember me from ibiza etc)..

    last time I was propositioned whilst DJing in a night club I was still to young to drink!! lol

    razor wire? or a perhaps a partition between the dancefloor and the front of the DJ booth (like foondation)?, i loved that fence, was always there when you needed a mid set lean.

    however people, these are pipe dreams. it'll cost far too much coin to lower that box anyway. i'm guessing the UL bod's will laugh at this minor (or major) aesthetic flaw (no matter how big) and not bother.

    they're not going to bother doing something like that if people are coming back every week, and i cant imagine people not turning up to big events because "well, the height of the DJ booth is disgusting - i'm going somewhere where i can really respect the layout and suchandsuchandsuch" :monkey:

    Can't believe no one has mentioned that fucking huge pillar in front of the DJ booth? Granted it's probably supporting the whole of upstairs but it's still a pain in the arse.

    Glass collectors/bar support who speak English should be sent into the cloakroom to help out at the end of the night with doormen looking after the Q. I was the best cloakroom person ever, nowt stolen, nowt lost in 3 years of doing the gig, money in the till always bang on.

    Most of Newcaslte's students hated me as it was £1 an item I used to always find the stashed other items. I used to make people cry when they lost there ticket & I told them they had to wait till the end of the night. I think I miss the gig as it was very therapeutic after doing a real days work.

    Get rid of the prison bars at the back of the dancefloor completely so you can walk thru to the back bar, instead of leaving he dancefloor by the sides.

    Fans/better air con upstairs & some sort of lighting.

    Upstairs netty - Nightmare having to run downstairs in the middle of a mix !
