It would be good to see something in the newcastle like that ADM in holland, where all the promoters get together and organise events. By all accounts these events are OFF THE SCALE.

We'll be playing music here though, not cooking food.

the saying applys to all areas reguardless of music, food,

, there was once a small boat party for a fair few local nights , no food , just music , promotors didnt work then . i doubt anything would change unless a unknowen leader in the scence could kick it into touch.

Just depends what promoters are involved. If they are level headed then it could work, if they've got an ego the size of scott parkers head then its got no chance.

aye tell gav to get back up here organising party's

    :wink::wink::wink::wink:

in ref to the boat party that earl refers to --- the thing is it was run on the wrong day - sunday lunchtime after people have been caning it fri and sat of bank hol weekend is always going to be difficult

if it had been run friday or saturday night it would have been a winner

the previous 2 boat shenanigans were blinding esepcially the may one in 2004

earl if youve got the same number I have some interesting bater for you

Electronic sessions do one on the thames every month it seems ... i was on the Electronic Sessions Vs Digital society one just before christmas and really enjoyed it...

I suppose the only downsides of that were the fact that you were stuck on a boat for six hours and that it started at 6pm and ended at midnight.

I had a great time tho.

to be fair the north east clublife boar party was good crack if a little male heavy lol

me, danny and james smith did 90% of the work and lulu and earl grey rescued the numbers late doors with the stanley massive

could easily work again but there would bound to be people spitting the dummy if they werent involved

in all honesty the durham boat probably hasnt got the capacity to cope with the numbers that would want to go now that habit, detox and several others have bigger followinghs now and I WILL NEVER EVER SAIL ON THE TYNE AGAIN after I was nearly killed on the last boatox outing

boat parties on the thames are great crack but then they have loads of them pretty often, so i guess they have the capacity to deal with them and are used to it. the djsource/turnmills one i did a few years ago was wicked :cool2:

Nightclubs should open there doors at 8pm, with the main act going on at 10pm. This way people that might not normally stay out past 5 in the morning will get to go clubbing and enjoy the big dj's that people spend a lot of money on to bring up here.

Theres no reason in the world why digital cant open its doors earlier, or the cosmic ballroom, or anywhere infact...

    Word!

We had a boat party last year August/September time and it was a massive sucess we didnt have real "big name" dj's and everyone had a class time got back for 10pm & everyone trotted off to shindig or the ball sack and we had no complaints from the ppl running the boat.....result!
