I've found that www.findaproperty.co.uk is better than Rightmove for properties in London.

They've also done blind taste tests with various water companies and bottled waters, and Thames water came out top.

I keep changing my mind, but I'm probably going to apply to the North West Thames region, even though there's a fair chance I could get sent to Truro/Colchester/Watford/Middlesex. Chelsea and Westminster hospital looks great, but it's going to be megacompetitive.

Looks like rent is going to be £200 a week, which is going to make things tight.

Was it Hendon that had to have some wire strung up around it to let people off sabbath duties?

And whats wrong with 'suburbia' .... not everyone wants to do the whole 'inner city' thing, depending on what they are looking for in life.

Suburbia is fine when you want to settle down and have kids.

While I'm still young(ish) I want to live in a lively part of London. I'm not ready to be boring just yet.

The hendon eruv covers hendon, golders, temple fortune, finchley & hampstead.

the whole area is like little Israel, although it was too expensive for me to live in half decent accommodation on my own - so for the first time in 4 years I'm house sharing :)

it's the only part of London you can live if your Jewish... so if you like Jewish girls/boys or you're of the faith it's not really that dull.

besides, most of this board is in their mid-20's our days of living in rave squats are long gone.
