Spot on - reminds us of how gud promise actually is really wen u go on ya travels to different places.

Joe - as a said at the weekend (altho u proib dont remember ) the place was full of charvers - but - they didnt really bother anyone like the charvers we have up ere...they kept themselves to themselves mostly.

However there were plenty of arrogant ones littering the corridors smoking weed all night.

And for them to be shocked and not very friendly at all when u ask em nicely if u can get past wasnt on.....no need for it...at times u felt a bit intimidated when walking about...

Still had a top night tho!

I do think Promise will start getting bussier again now, last week was quite busy and with the b/day nights coming up I can see things getting back to the way they were!

Promise is ok and it's good to have it, but I can't say we're lucky up here. Apart from that, clubbing up here is fairly shite to be honest.

There are a few nights starting up which I really hope are a success and will change all this, but to be honest, club wise, I don't consider it to be very luck to live up here.

But you live on the doorstep of a club that has big names every week and one of the best crowds in the country....surely thats a good thing?

I count myself lucky definately, there are so many people I know that have to travel week in week out to goto clubs.....and its not cheap.

Living on the doorstep of something like Promise is a godsend!

Promise does have some good line-ups, I'll give it that, but I've been to better clubs/venues. I think the introduction of the new harder nights will be the making of the place. From what I've seen/heard, it has been getting quiet in there as of late. Shame really, as it should be rammed every week! Let's face it, what competition do they have around here?!?

Newcastle is very limited club wise. For clubbing, I'd much rather live close to Birmingham or Leeds where there is much more variety and better venues.

I didn't put Promise down, just think that trhe city needs more than one club. Apart from Promise (and Shindig if that's your thing), there's nothing else worth going to.

What we are gettin at tho is we should count ourselves lucky we have anything!

We have been going to promise now since it opened, can count on 1 hand how many times we have missed, It will only get better with all your backing. so come together....
