i used to post when the board first started, then stopped for about 18month or so, as didnt really know anyone and used to think the board was really 'cliquey' tho this may just have been cos i didnt know anybody and was just a 'random' back then.

then i started posting again and have never looked back lol. its still good crack at times, tho it does go through good/bad spells.

its the easiest way to keep in touch with a lot of mates through the week, and a good place to discuss tunes, the main reasons i come on (well........ that and having not much else to do )

the main change i reckon is now theres a lot more people with different tastes come on, not just people that go to promise.

the board used to be loads more loved up than it is now.. i cringe when i see people who join all excited - you feel like telling them to fuck off even though they've done nothing wrong..

i joined in oct/nov 2002.. jon was baldy... geordielee was still at uni and could hardly come out.. then after that there was some bad banter with the tidy crew and the whole board - turned out they were sound people.

katie/jess turned up around spring/summer.. bless the little kittens i used to think they were so sweet and innocent.. now they're just lovelly crack whores (although jess has plucked Pike's heart strings )

allie changed in a million ways.. weight/hair/genre slating/cockyness (on here)..

jill gets wrecked and likes dance music (this is my cousin who was wearing hoodies in her youth - i don't have anything against that but how things change..)

ruth used to be a hardcore clubber.. i even caught ken at the backend of his clubbing spurt...

i discovered jon's humour

ness is the only person who hasn't changed (he's older though) - and that's a good thing, he looks scary but he's a top geezer (please stop smoking )

mr sleepy.. used to be a proper cainer..

glitter.. has changed a hell of alot.. attitude on here.. fashion sense.. although i think her personality's stayed the same..

crasherkid.. hair changed lots but he never talks properly on here anymore compared to what we used to get out of him - which is probably a good thing, he got a life! we had to let one or two go i suppose..

I was never a hardcore clubber...i hardly went out compared to most other peeps...i've been to promise less times than duncans mate phil who ain't been many times at all!

no one argues anymore. i think people used to be a lot more passionate about clubbing, me included, and that led to people defending their opinions alot more vocally and vehemently. hence some of the massive rucks you used to see on here.

now the kids just wait for the next bandwagon, while many older clubbers have become bored by it all and hardly bother at all, or have left the scene entirely.

Even though I havent been on the board that long, I know exactly what u mean. Everybody used 2 be really excited about the next event whatever it was..

And (me included!!) I think everybody has grown up a hell of a lot!

the boards changed loads!!!! everyone has changed, even the oldies...its bound to happen though isnt it?? we arent all guna stay happy pill popping losers forever.....well, some of you will, but most have some sense!
