Hate it though, never get a seat.
But I guess driving to town's a bitch for traffic and parking so I have to put up with the metro.

Well I'll be in Durham and my placement's in Newton Aycliffe so I'm guessing it's gonna take me around 15-20 mins. I like driving to work- gives me chance to wake up a bit and listen to a few tunes of a morning :)

Its funny how people walk to work. Its something I would never do, unless I lived next door. I am probs the laziest person you'll ever meet tho :p

I used to spend 4 hours a day commuting to work - half way across surrey from croydon inside the london boroughs.

These days i leave the house around 8.10 and im walking into work around 8.20 - Takes about a mile and a half walk, then 40 minutes on the train.

Its pretty much an accepted standard of living down here :spangled:

where do you go to/from like mate? the A1's always a nightmare!

takes me bout 35/45 mins in a mornin, to get to work for 8. n bout 25 mins on a night (leave work at 4 so its still quiet-ish)

when i'm on the way home from work there are people already in traffic jams from team valley all the way back to kingston park/gosforth sometimes!! that's a good few miles, i'd hate to see it in rush hour! glad i go north on the way home it's canny quiet

About three seconds - my office is in the room next to my bedroom.

I used to work just outside Leeds - an hour and a half drive each way, every day. Did it for nine months.
