I used to go to house parties all the time with me mates from school, when half way through his older brother & brothers mates would stumble back in from Goodgreef at Tall Trees, would get invited to go every month but was shit scared about getting knocked back at the door & having to sit on the bus as I wasnt 18. Eventually got the courage to go to something called 'Global Gathering' never looked back from that point, loved it. Went to every GG for about 18 month there after & still knock about with the same lads now :D  :cool2:

First of all, I listened to the cheesy trance tracks that got into the charts....

After that (about aged 13) the rave and posse crew tapes got passed round at school!!! (the shame of it)....we all used to go to raves at the youth club :monkey:

Eventually, therave turned to hardhouse and the hard house turned to trance  the trance has now turned to trance/minimal/techno.

My youngest sister has followed pretty much the same route...I always tell her that trance is on the cards next, haha, but shes having none of it!!

I've just remebered the Venue tapes I used to listen to in year 6 as well. Also used to pick up the £2 Collosseum tapes of the Quayside market like a few others have metioned. Right next to the slipper stall

Bassy G's with all the graffiti on the walls going downstairs and Looney Tunes upstairs with all the Ken Doh house stuff. Think he ran the shop too?

Sure are mate :D You, Dan & Scopey are the main culprits.

+ Eddie playing Arome - Hands Up (S.Project Remix) at Trees was a great help too, as was Tiesto playing Southern Sun at Global.
