How did you find out about Promise?

Fizz, Ness, Marty, Stu introduced me to Promise.

i used to goto uni in newcastle and while up there saw posters and flyers.

it got a bit more credibility when it changed its name to Scotland Yard and 'Reverb' was on fridays... i think there's another club now called the Powerhouse, not far away... now thats shit.

depends how long ago it was... the old one (now scotland yard, or it was last time i looked) changed its name ages ago, the new one has been a round a few years. did u go down some stairs to get in? under another club called rockshots?

Mmmmm...the old original Powerhouse had three rooms, large front room with dance floor and small stage, back bar with smaller dance floor and another room behind the main bar with pool table.

Next door was Rockshots with a main room and a lower level room.

Yes, the Powerhouse is still over in the gay part of town. You get Trannie nights on like a Wed or Thurs. Best ask the Man Of Sicence about that though, if your interested.

The old powerhouse (underneath rockshots) is now called scotland yard. The new powerhouse (where she went!) is over the road now and it's (relativley) new.
