Help me find an ISP that won't do me over for downloading

Sky is OK, I switched recently due to cost (bt was £22 per month!) and i'm getting slower download speeds and increased latencies in games.

With bt it would be around 25ms, now it's upper 50s/low 60's

I only play UT zeroping Instagib, so ping isn't an issue for me! (for now... there's bound to be a good fps multiplayer game out soon similar to UT)

I'm only really concerned with download speeds RE: torrents, bandwidth limits and any tendencies to send me lettres about downloading illegal files. Terrorism documents etc...

I'm not too sure mate - i was previously with AOL & BT for a while and there has been no noticeable difference in speed / latency in games is the same as it was.

THere's a good website - skyuser.co.uk which has loads of info about it in the forums and a lot of user reviews / issues etc if you want to read up on it a bit

I'm not sure if this is good or not buts its areet for what I use the net for.

We signed up to a bundle with virgin, 3 for 30 quid or so,.. tv phone and net...

i phoned up last night to ask if i could ramp up my net speed from crappy 2 meg,

if i do.. that cancels my bundle deal and charges individual price for each service... so my bill would go up shitloads

Gonna work out some kinda money saving thing to work around that tho!

Jimmy - you are probably limited due to distance from your exchange but it's still poor

I dont really do much on the net to be honest, post on here, download a few tunes, facebook.
My Xbox live runs ok so that keeps me happy.
