bit of a no-brainer really isn't it.. my next car is going to be a turbo deisel - and they DO shift towards the middle of the rev counter (Mack, if that cars new I wouldn't be taking it up to 115 just yet )

Obviously a 2 litre Diesel isn't the same as a 2 litre petrol, a 1.9TDI can be compared to a 1.6 16v Petrol for example.. but the insurance groups and tax bands are given appropriately.
